Are you taking a wait and see approach to your social media marketing or are you being proactive as a business? A wait and see approach is the slow way to build your social media community in Halifax, Dartmouth or elsewhere. It’s like sitting and waiting for the phone to ring.

We can often see big equipment waiting around to be used for construction. That makes sense when things are getting set up. But when they sit around with no plan, that is where money can get wasted. It’s the same with our businesses.

Will you let your business sit and wait for work?

What can we learn from this video?

  1.  If you wait, you might not connect with your important connections till much later and other businesses could pass you by – A wait and see approach to your social media is a hard way to build a vibrate thriving community around you. It’s like looking at your phone and hoping a customer will call you. I determined early on in my business that I would take the proactive approach and not wait for others to make the first move.
  2. If you wait, you could lose out on building great strategic relationships early in your business – You need to be proactive in your search for great people to build a vibrant community around you and your business. The people you need to connect with are out there waiting to connect with you. They just don’t know it yet. It’s time to enlighten them by announcing yourself to them.
  3.  If you wait, you probably won’t matter to your customer’s success – What are some ways you can go out and be proactive with? Think about this and try something. Who can you reach out to right now that will matter for your business?

As a business, your potential visibility can be increased by surrounding yourself with more quality followers and fans. Now I am not a fan of numbers for the sake of numbers. If you have read some of my posts and watched some of my videos, you will see I am foremost focused on building a vibrant community and connecting with great people. The question thus remains; are you going to take a wait and see approach or are you going out to make something happen?

So let’s get out here and have a great day of business.
