The new Twitter search layout has replaced the format of their old search layout. Twitter has come out with a more robust search with lots more options. Hopefully it will make searching on Twitter more efficient and more effective.
The Advanced Twitter search is now located under the “More options” section; on the right side, just under the main blue bar at the top. When you click on the menu link “More options“, the “Advanced Search” link is found at the bottom of the drop down menu. The Advanced Search remains the same in appearance and functionality.

We now have the following sections in Twitter Search:
- Top
- Live
- Accounts
- Photos
- Videos
- More Options
I cannot help but think that this new development is a result of the Google-Twitter marriage. Hopefully, this will produce an even more robust search on Twitter. What ever you start searching for a Twitter, it will be broken down into different sections. At first glance, this looks like a great improvement.
