Your business card says a lot about you and your business. Whether it is on paper or it is electronic, your business card makes a statement. It’s marketing. Here’s the business card that you should have.
One would think that the person, or business, who shows up with this card would be full of himself or herself. But before we get all judgmental, let’s think about what this card is saying:
- The business or person has worked hard on showing up on the first page of Google. This is no easy task. It takes skill and effort to get there. They are invested in their business and how it shows up in search.
- It says that they recognize the current business world and know what it takes to do business today.
- It says that they embrace risk in a healthy way. It take guts to have a customer search Google to find your business information. A business that does not risk, is one that is playing it safe. No guts means no glory. Do you want to work with them?
- It says that this person or business is innovative. They are willing to try new things. If we keep on doing the same old same, we will get the same old results. We need to work with businesses and people who are forward thinking.
So I hope this gets you fired up and inspired. Now I know you will have to have a disclaimer on the card if you use the Google logo. But just image the statement you would be making?
