It’s no secret that I have not been a fan of Instagram and all the things they have tried to pull over our eyes. I left them for quite a while. Lately I have returned because I see the merit in being there. And now that they have video build in, I can really see how Instagram can be used to tell your business story.

I have been trying to see how many ways I can get Instagram video working for me. We know we can share an Instagram video to a Facebook Profile and to Twitter. But what else can we do with that video?
Here are a couple of thoughts that I really like:
- Instagram leaves the video file on your smart phone. You can upload your video file to YouTube where it can be promoted. This will help support your YouTube channel.
- You can also put that Instagram video file up on a Facebook page using the Facebook Pages app. Once on your Facebook Page, just image all the sharing that could happen.
I think that the last one will work the best for me for getting really good posts to my Facebook Page. These videos will be short – 15 seconds in length. This will give me just enough time to share one great idea and a quick example maybe to reinforce the idea. Here’s what it looks like on a Facebook Page:
