So as a business, you think you are big enough that you can blow off your customers and tell them where to go? Well you are definitely wrong. Gone are the days when businesses can tell their customers what to buy, when to buy it, how much they pay for it; and if they don’t like it, where to go. Did you here that, it’s the sound of change.
A friend of mine was told by a large business that he was wasting their time. Despite the fact that the big business had messed up and was doing very little to fix the situation. Another friend was told that they could leave and take their money back; even though what they buy is part of their livelihood. I thought that businesses were supposed to offer great customer service; or am I mistaken. I see businesses missing opportunities to come ahead as the provider of great solutions.
With social media, this type of poor customer service, or abuse, will not be tolerated. The business customer relationship should be a good healthy one. Instead cancer has taken hold of some businesses and it is getting ugly. That will soon change; and boy will they be believers of social media then. The customer has more power than ever. It’s time for good customer service. This is not a new thing. But putting up with bad service is going to be a thing of the past. Business tomb stones will reflect this.
