When someone shares one of your tweets, it is a good idea to acknowledge them. Acknowledgement lets others know that you saw what they did and that you are thankful. Do this when you can and watch how others respond to your acknowledgement.
I know that as a business owner, you are already busy. You don’t need anymore work. When you can, you should acknowledge those who have helped create greater visibility for your tweets. A simple and quick “Thank you” can go a long way.
Here’s some thoughts for you:
- When you can, say thank you. Acknowledge them. You don’t have to make it a long thing.
- Send them an “@”reply or a Direct Message. Just let them know you are grateful for what they did.
- You won’t get to all of them, but maybe you could do a general “Thank you” for the help.
- Remember that you are building community. And where possible, that requires interaction.
- For most of us, we are not that big that we are getting hundreds of retweets. Do what you are able to do when you can.
Here’s a look at Bex thanking me for retweeting her. Great way to create more good things.
Thanks @4JeffBrown for the RT's. Much obliged! :)) 🇬🇧

Remember that interactions with others is what Twitter is really about. maybe you started off with thanking someone and opportunity just happened along the way. People matter and great things can happen when you interact with others,
Have a great day in business. I am cheering you onward.
