Komfo has created a simple Facebook Page analytic tool to help you understand how your Facebook Page is performing in the community that has connected with you. Now you can quickly monitor a few simple metrics and adjust your efforts to create better results in Halifax, Dartmouth and elsewhere. This tool can help your business do better.
I originally found out about this social media tool from Neal Schaffer. He wrote a blog post entitled: “Introducing a New Free Facebook Page Analytics Tool: Komfo“. Neal wrote a great summary on how Komfo can help Facebook Page owners. Neal gets right to the point when he says…”Being able to get a monthly calculation for EdgeRank, Virality, and CTR are vital metrics which can help many a social media marketer maximize their Facebook marketing. The addition of the Spam Score will now make it much more efficient to dig down into those posts that are causing people to complain to see how you can rectify the situation for the future.”
Neal does a great job of explaining the benefits of Komfo. He was unable to get his Facebook Page to work with Komfo at the moment. So here are several screen shots and summary information from my set up of the Alpha Social Media Facebook Page. I have included the descriptions from Komfo, since I suspect it will be had to read in the screen shots.
Fan Penetration: Fan Penetration tells you how many percent of your fan base you have reached in average pr. post. Across Facebook the average is 16%. Can you beat that?
Viral Amplification: Viral amplification is a measure of Viral impressions vs. Organic ones. If you get more than 1x here, you’ve made some truly viral content. Try to look at the Viral Amplification on the individual posts also to see which ones are most viral.
CTR Average: Click Through Rate tells you how many percent of impressions result in a click. Anything above 10% means your posts are very engaging.
Spam Score: Spam Score is a measure of the negative feedback as a percentage of all clicks. Negative feedback like “hide post”, “unlike page” and “mark as spam” seriously affects your page’s reach, so beware to stay below 5%.
Sort: In the table you’ll see the individual posts published the last month. Click at the top to sort by highest penetration, CTR etc. Now keep improving your performance on all parameters. Good luck!

Overall, the information that I received was very helpful. I trust this will help you get a better understanding of what Komfo can help you with. Looking at my details, there’s lots of room for improvement.
