They say social media takes too much time. Well it can if you do not have a plan. I challenged myself to do a video, a Facebook Page Post, a Blog post and a tweet in under 13 minutes. When you do social media smartly, you can do wonders. Here’s a video to inspire you.

  • When it comes to time management for social media, you have to always be thinking ahead. Thinking smart is key to success.
  • You need to take advantage of your environment and your surrounding. Take great pictures and save them for future use. Build a great library for your social media.
  • Do an audit of your time. Where are the wasted zones? If you start looking at what you do each day, you will discover places for your social media.
  • If you think right about how you do social media, you can do better. If you think you can’t, then you can’t. Have a positive attitude about social media and don’t say “I can’t”. Allow yourself the opportunity to see how “You can”.

I will also be starting a new Twitter series for my social media participants on this blog. I hope to give you a tip a day to help you understand and improve your Twitter usage.

Here’s a tip for today: Twitter is a great way to drive traffic some where. Maybe it is your website or your Facebook Page. If you are not happy with your web traffic, you can create some.
