The “It’s All Social” social media conference in Truro was a huge success for local businesses. Over 100 businesses and government organizations were present at the conference. Looks like there will be a “It’s All Social” 2014 conference. Many are hoping to attend the next conference in June 2014.
This social media conference focused on introducing local businesses on how social media could help them. Many participants had not yet taken the plunge into using social media for their business. It was refreshing to hear their questions at the end of each presentation.
As a part of the conference, I had Samantha tweet some of the key points from my talks. Here are a few examples:
#ItsAllSocial2012 Talking about the Need for a strong goal when you start on your social media. ^SB

I am hoping that these tweets will remind the conference participants of the key points of my four social media talks.
It was great to hear the conversations that were occurring in the hallways. I think this conference really helped many understand the power of social media. The hallway conversations proved to be a great stimulus for learning. From my own experience, much of the learning happens between the talks.
Conferences are a great place to gain new information and skills. The “It’s All Social” Conference provided a great start for many businesses. Here’s to a great road ahead for them.
