When ever someone is in front of you, make sure you go out of your way to make them feel special. When it comes to social media, you can do the same thing as well. I am encouraging you and my Halifax social media workplace education participants to build this into their social media.
Here’s a tweet that really says what I am trying to say perfectly. It’s from Vala Afshar:

And if you need a reason to do it, here it is… “Just because it’s…[you fill in the blank]”.
We need to be businesses that focus on social good; especially when there is nothing in it for us at all. That’s what really makes a lasting difference.
So make a difference today with your business. Make someone fell special for no reason at all.
