If you have social media followers, why not lead? Is it good enough to surround yourself with a large group of followers? If you are going to lead, why not lead well?
I am presenting at the NSCDA Conference in Truro this morning on “Leading in Social Media”. Instead of the usually how to tips and advice that I usually share, I am going to focus on leading with a difference on social media.
Leading is truly leading when you are lifting up the lives of those that are connected with you. Instead of trying to extract a result from your followers, why not focus on helping them become better leaders themselves? Why not show them how to create dynamic influence that creates good.
I have 70 minutes to illuminate and inspire. I will just have to put my John Maxwell hat on and go for it. Life is too short to live small. Let’s see if I can inspire the participants to create greater impact in their followers and make this world a little better place. Maybe I will live stream, who knows? 🙂
