I will tell my social media class in Halifax tonight to be the ones who inspire others. This will cause more impact, than many other things on social media, for them. Don’t believe me? Check out this tweet.
@4JeffBrown Happy Friday Jeff! Hope you're well and a quick thank-you for always sharing fun tweets and pics! #NoNegativesFriday #PassItOn

People come to social media for enjoyment and inspiration. If you will be the one who delivers that, your social media efforts will get noticed. Here’s a post I put on my Alpha Social Media Facebook Page:
You can have a great impact on your social media community if you want, and you are willing to put the effort into inspiring and encouraging others.
Here’s some tips on how to make this happen:
- Share positive and encouraging posts with others.
- Go out of you way to encourage specific individuals you see struggling on social media.
- As a business, be a positive and helpful voice in your community. Business is more than sales.
- Be prepared to receive encouragement from others as well. Make sure you thank them for their encouraging words.
If you social media account is business all the time, your account will not be as impacting as it could be. You could become boring and irrelevant to those around you. When you show you care about your community, and you work to better it, your business will be received better by those in your community. You will be known as a giver, and not just a taker. Remember that people like to do business with people they like. That’s not ramming business down people’s throats just to make the sale.
Let me encourage you this day to inspire and encourage those around you. Acts of kindness go a long way…….
