One of the things that social media trainers and bloggers need to keep in mind is this: they need to mix their post material up.  It does not always need to be about social media.  I encourage my clients to add some fun stuff or information that the think will be helpful to their readers.  This is the principle of attraction marketing.  Give your readers something that will be interesting to them; even if it is not directly related to what you do as a business.  One of the best examples I have seen of this is Tropicana Canada on Facebook. They have a good mix of product and fun.  The team is actually a group of pretty cool people.

Here is something that should matter to you at this time of the year.  I remember my high school physics class.  Their was one equation that stood out: PV=nrT.  How does it relate today to you and me?  I think tires;  winter tires.  I spent 6.5 years in the automotive service industry.  I know a little about vehicles and tires.  So back to the equation.  Pressure is on one side of the equation, while temperature is on the other.  As temperature goes down, so does pressure.  The colder it gets, the lower the pressure in your tires.  So you should check your tire pressures to see where they are at.  This time of year, they might get too low and cause an accident.

So give your readers information from your industry as well as other information that could be helpful.  You never know when your information might even save someones life.
