If you want your tweets to be retweeted, you will have to focus on producing a positive message on a continual basis. Negativity decreases follower count. And a decreased follower count means less retweets.

Dan Zarrella comments…”I found that as negativity increased, the number of people interested in reading it decreased” in Zarrella’s Hierarchy of Contagious: The Science, Design and Engineering of Contagious Ideas.

You want people to “Want To” read your tweets. You want them to “like your tweets” and “share them” by retweeting them. Negativity will work against all your hard efforts by driving your followers away, or making you unattractive to new followers.
